This assault rifle is the most widely used weapon across the game and if you are a serious player, you’ll most likely end up using it a lot. This also means that your AK-47 skill will be visible to you a lot. To help you decide on what skin you want, the following is a list of some of the best AK-47 skins in CS:GO.

AK-47 Redline

This is a classic skin for the most popular assault rifle in the game. This is probably the most recognizable weapon finish in the game. If you’ve been playing the game for a while, you’ve no doubt seen or owned one before. The skin is black with red outlines that make it pop a bit. As long as you don’t absolutely need the Minimal Wear version, the skin is pretty cheap too. It costs around 8$ for the Battle-Scarred version while the Minimal Wear one is over 45$. This is a great looking skin and for the price, one of the best deals you can get. It was released back in 2014 but there still haven’t been many AK-47 skins that have become more widespread or well-liked within the CS:GO community.

AK-47 Red Laminate

This is part of a series of ‘laminate’ AK-47 skins that were released as part of The Arms Deal update in 2013. As this can only be obtained from the from the eSports 2013 case and is one of the earliest released skins, finding one can sometimes be difficult. The Blue Laminate is a better bang for your buck but we prefer the fierce look of the red version. If you are more partial to either blue or black versions, they are also good options to consider. This weapon finish is available in all qualities but Factory New version is exceedingly rare. This one costs more than 10 times the next most expensive version, so it’s probably better to stay away. Fortunately, though, the rest of them are pretty reasonably priced, ranging from 14$ to 20$.  Even the Stat-Trak skins are reasonably priced, except the Factory New one, which costs over a 1000$.

AK-47 Neon Rider

This skin is for those who want to make their impact on the server felt, as it’s hard to miss the bright and flashy Neon Rider finish.  The weapon features a mix of bright shades of purple, pink and blue to create a truly weird but fantastic skin. There are loads of tiny elements on the skin that make it even better. The small details mean that you can notice new things even after you’ve been using the weapon for a while. If you like the flashy colors but want more options, the Neon Revolution skin is also worth taking a look at. This skin is a bit older and messier looking, but that may be what you prefer. The Neon Rider skin can cost you a bit more than you may like, however. The normal version varies from 21.5$ to up to 65$. The Stat-Trak version, though, can set you back up to almost 200$, depending on what wear level you decide to pick.

AK-47 Frontside Misty

Another slightly chaotic but vibrant skin, the Frontside Misty was released about 4 years ago. It was part of The Shadow Collection and was released with the Shadow Boxing update. The arctic inspired colors can really make it look unique. The center is busy and well balanced by the calm outer details. It’s still a great skin and one of our favorite weapon finishes in the game. This skin certainly isn’t cheap but it won’t break the bank either. The Battle-Scarred version is the cheapest version for 13$, while the Factory New can cost you up to near 50$. If you’re into Stat-Trak weapons though, it’ll cost substantially more. Even the cheapest version costs 26$ but Factory New one is more than a 100$.

AK-47 The Empress

The Empress weapon finish is one of the newer skins on this list and was part of The Spectrum 2 Collection. The skin certainly gives off a regal vibe, which is true to its name. The design is based on The Empress tarot card, with bright golden hair that runs along the length of the weapon. This is one of the skins you’ll either love or hate. Some people will hate the skin for being a bit overcrowded. Others will love the mix of bright red and yellow. The weapon finish is very popular and has a price that reflects this. Even the cheapest Battle-Scarred version costs 40$ and the higher quality ones can cost more than 138$. The Stat-Trak variants cost even more, with the Factory New weapon costing more than 500$. This certainly isn’t cheap but depending on your priorities, it might even be worth spending this amount.
